Este jueves se dieron a conocer las nominaciones a la 87º edición de los premios Oscar, que entrega la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Hollywood.

En la ceremonia se confirmó la candidatura de Relatos salvajes, de Damián Szifrón, a mejor película en lengua no inglesa

Por otra parte, los argentinos Nicolás Giacobone y Armando Bo, junto al director mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, se consolidaron como candidatos a la estatuilla en las categorías mejor película y guión original

Relatos salvajes, la coproducción entre España y Argentina logró así un nuevo éxito en su recorrido, tras convertirse en la película argentina más vista, alcanzar varios premios del cine nacional, y encarar los Goya españoles con nueve candidaturas.

Los ganadores se conocerán el próximo 22 de febrero, en una ceremonia que tendrá lugar en el teatro Dolby de Los Ángeles.

El actor Chris Pine, los directores J.J. Abrams (Star Wars VII) y Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity) y el presidente de la Academia de Hollywood, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, fueron los encargados de hacer los anuncios.

Birdman, de Alejandro González Iñárritu y El gran hotel Budapest, de Wes Anderson, lideran la lista de nominaciones con nueve cada una. Le siguen The imitation game, con ocho, y Boyhood, con cinco.

A mejor película aspiran American Sniper, Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything (La teoría del todo) y Whiplash.

Por el apartado mejor dirección compiten Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel; Alejandro González Iñárritu, Birdman; Richard Linklater, Boyhood; Morten Tyldum, The Imitation Game; y Bennet Miller, Foxcatcher.

Para mejor actor están candidateados Benedict Cumberbatch, The Imitation Game; Michael Keaton, Birdman; Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything ; Bradley Cooper, American Sniper; y Steve Carrell, Foxcatcher

Por el lado de la mejor actriz compiten Felicity Jones, The Theory of Everything; Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl (Perdida); Reese Witherspoon, Wild; y Marion Cotillard, Two Days One Night.

Entre los roles principales, la categoría mejor actor de reparto fue para Robert Duvall, The Judge; Ethan Hawke, Boyhood; Edward Norton, Birdman; Mark Ruffalo, Foxcatcher; J.K. Simmons, Whiplash

El rubro mejor actriz de reparto quedó conformada así: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood ; Keira Knightley, The Imitation Game; Emma Stone, Birdman; Meryl Streep, Into the Woods; Laura Dern, Wild

Los argentinos Nicolás Giacobone y Armando Bo disputan el rubro mejor guión original por su trabajo junto a González Inñárritu y Alexander Dinelaris en la cinta Birdman. Allí disputan el rubro con Boyhood, Nightcrawler, Foxcatcher y The Gran Budapest hotel.
