Este martes se conocieron las candidaturas a los premios Oscar, el máximo galardón que entrega la industria cinematográfica de Hollywood. Entre los nominados a mejor película aparecen el filme francés “El artista”, gran ganador de las últimas premiaciones.

El drama “Hugo”, de Martin Scorsese, encabeza las candiaturas en once rubros, seguida por “El artista”, con diez. La actriz argentina Bèrènice Bejo fue reconocida en la sección Mejor actriz secundaria. "Superclásico" resultó fuera de la selección a Mejor película en lengua extranjera
La argentina Bèrènice Bejo consiguió su nominación en el rubro Mejor actriz secundaria por su papel en citado drama mudo. “Superclásico”, la comedia danesa con Sebastián Estevanez no fue incluida entre las candidaturas a Mejor filme en lengua no inglesa.
“Hugo” encabeza las nominaciones en once categorías, seguida por “El artista” con diez participaciones. “War Horse” y “El juego de la fortuna” obtuvieron seis candidaturas, y “Los descendientes” y “La chica con el dragón tatuado” fueron incluidas en cinco rubros cada una.
En la sección Mejor película fueron incluídas “El artista”, “Los descendientes”, “Hugo”, “The Help”, “Medianoche en París”, “El juego de la fortuna”, “War horse” y “El árbol de la vida.” Entre los directores fueron reconocidos Michel Hazanavicius (“El artista”), Alexander Payne "Los desecndientes", Martin Scorsese ("Hugo"), Woody Allen "Medianoche en París" y Terrence Malick (“El árbol de la vida”)
En el rubro Mejor actor protagónico aparecen Demián Bichir ("A better life"), George Clooney ("Los descendientes"), Jean Dujardin ("El artista"), Gary Oldman ("Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy") y Brad Pitt ("El juego de la fortuna").
Entre las actrices protagónicas fueron nominadas Glenn Close ("Albert Nobbs"), Viola Davis ("The help"), Rooney Mara ("La chica con el dragón tatuado"), Meryl Streep ("La dama de hierro") y Michelle Williams ("My week with Marilyn")
Entre las actuaciones secundarias fueron reconocidos los trabajos de Kenneth Branagh, Jonah Hill, Nick Nolte, Christopher Plummer y el histórico Max Von Sydow. El rubro Mejor actriz secundaria está intregado por Bérénice Bejo, Jessica Chastain, Melissa McCarthy, Janet McTeer y Octavia Spencer.
En la sección Mejor película extranjera el listado incluye a "Bullhead" (Bélgica) "Monsieur Lazhar" (Canadá), "Nader and Simin: A separation" (Irán), "Footnote" (Israel) y "In darkness" (Polonia). Enta to que las película animadas que compiten por un Oscae son "A cat in Paris", "Chico & Rita", "Kung Fu Panda". "Puss in boots" y "Rango"
